Requests for Voter Registration Applications
To be eligible to register in Texas, you must:

be a U.S. citizen;
-
be a resident of the county;
-
be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months);
-
not a convicted felon (unless a person’s sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
-
not declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law

Am I Registered to Vote?
Can’t remember if you’ve registered in the past? Please feel free to use the El Paso County Elections Department website to check.
If you know that you are not registered to vote, you can use the Texas Secretary of State Informal Online Application service. Just fill out the voter registration application online, print, sign, and mail to the El Paso County Elections Department at:

You can register in person at your county Voter Registrar’s office. (In most Texas counties, the Tax Assessor-Collector is also the Voter Registrar. In some counties, the County Clerk or Elections Administrator registers voters.)

Or you can register by mail by obtaining an application from your county Voter Registrar’s office or the Secretary of State’s office. You can also pick up applications at libraries, government offices, or high schools.
